Tauranga Intermediate
Tauranga Intermediate, New Zealand's largest intermediate school, sought to create a Modern Learning Environment for 390 students. The design features three learning pods, each accommodating 130 students in an open-plan, flexible setting with metal seamed cladding and cedar features. The interior design emphasizes acoustically treated, stimulating spaces with movable partitions, modular furniture, and the latest technology. This award-winning project enhances the learning experience by connecting indoor spaces with outdoor learning courtyards and existing symbolic trees.
