The design prioritizes scale, privacy, and street appeal, with a lush landscaped streetscape for shared vehicular and pedestrian access. The development has been praised for its strong community atmosphere and sense of place, receiving positive feedback from residents and the public. Salt won a Silver Medal at the 2021 NZ Commercial Awards and was highlighted by the Mayor as an exemplary medium-density residential development.
